Polish research center and Solargiga Energy Holding will build first european production site of silicon cells.
Polish industrial technological research and development center (pol. Centrum Badań i Rozwoju Technologii dla Przemysłu) will build along with the and Solargiga Energy Holding from China, first European production site of super-efficient silicon cells. The factory will be localized in one of the special economic zones. Estimated investment worth is reaching 120 million PLN.
The silicon cells, used in photovoltaic panels will be manufactured using a method developed by Polish Institute of Physics (pol. Instytut Fizyki Polskiej).
First “Made in Poland” products will go to china in the end of the year 2016.
